Amigurumi Bull Free Crochet Pattern

Velor goby Mark crocheted.

Let me introduce you to a very unusual bull. His name is Mark, and he has an unusual talent for a bull-calf – he knows how to play the violin. Mark devotes a lot of time to music, especially he likes Mozart’s violin sonatas.

Goby Mark crocheted from velor yarn. And the legs and head of the toy are mounted on cotter pins. How to do this, you will learn from the video, which is posted at the end of the workshop.

By the way, this bull is not necessary to knit from velor. Plush yarn is quite suitable, but then the goby will turn out to be quite impressive in size. And if you use the same yarn and crochet hook as I did for knitting a toy, the bull’s height will be about 17 cm with the horns.

Knit bull head.

We start knitting the head of a bull-calf crocheted from the muzzle. We start knitting this part with white yarn.

1 row: we collect 2 air loops (hereinafter – ch) and knit 6 single crochet (hereinafter – sc) into the second loop from the hook (6).

2 row: repeat (1 inc) 6 times (12).

3 row: repeat (1 sc (single crochet), 1 inc) 6 times (18).

4th row: repeat (2 sc, 1 inc) 6 times (24).

5 row: repeat (3 sc, 1 inc) 6 times (30).

6-9 rows: we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (30).

Change the color of yarn to brown. The white thread can be fixed and cut off, then we will knit the head of the goby with brown yarn.

10 row: repeat (3 sc, 1 dec) 6 times (24).

11 row: repeat (3 sc, 1 inc) 6 times (30).

12 row: we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (30).

13 row: 10 sc, repeat (1 inc, 3 sc) 3 times, 8 sc (33).

14th row: 10 sc, repeat (1 inc, 4 sc) 3 times, 8 sc (36).

15 row: we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (36).

16 row: repeat (5 sc, 1 inc) 6 times (42).

17-21 rows: we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (42).

22 row: repeat (5 sc, 1 dec) 6 times (30).

We fix the cotter pin between the 16th and 17th rows. The connected part of the head of the goby can be stuffed with filler for soft toys.

23 row: repeat (4 sc, 1 dec) 6 times (24).

24 row: repeat (3 sc, 1 dec) 6 times (18).

Add filler inside the part so that the head of the bull is tightly packed.

25 row: repeat (2 sc, 1 dec) 6 times (12).

26 row: decrease until the hole is completely closed.

Feet (4 parts).

And the handles and legs for the bull go together the same way. We start knitting the detail with beige yarn.

1st row: dial 2 ch and knit 6 sc into the second loop from the hook (6).

2 row: repeat (1 inc) 6 times (12).

3 row: repeat (1 sc, 1 inc) 6 times (18).

4 row: we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (18).

Starting from the 6th row, we knit with brown yarn.

5-7 rows: we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (18).

8 row: repeat (1 sc, 1 dec) 6 times (12).

9-20 rows: we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (12).

We fix the cotter pin between the 19th and 20th rows and then we knit the decreases until the hole is completely closed. When knitting from velor yarn, I got 8 decreases. Perhaps if you use another yarn to knit a bull, the number of reductions will be different. The top of the legs of a knitted goby is not stuffed.

Ears for the bull (2 parts).

1st row: dial 2 ch and knit 6 sc into the second loop from the hook (6).

2 row: repeat (1 inc) 6 times (12).

3-5 rows: we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (12).

6 row: repeat (2 sc, 1 dec) 3 times (9).

In the last loop we knit a connecting column, we complete the knitting of the part. The ears of a goby are not stuffed. We flatten the part with our fingers, giving it the shape of the ears for a knitted bull.

Crochet horns.

Horns are knitted with beige yarn. We collect a chain of 10 ch, close in a ring. And then we will knit the part in an unusual way. We will not count the rows, as is customary when knitting amigurumi. We will just alternate (12 sc, 1 dec) until we run out of loops.

Knitting the torso of a bull.

Since we will use the cotter pin of the head and legs of the goby, before knitting the body it is necessary to tie all the other details of the toy and make a muzzle, sew ears and horns. In the process of knitting the body, we will fix the head and legs.

5 row: repeat (2 sc, 1 inc) 6 times (24).

6-10 rows: we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (24).

We fix the head with a cotter pin (if you have questions, watch the video).

11 row: repeat (3 sc, 1 inc) 6 times (30).

12 row: we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (30).

After knitting the 12th row, we fix the handle of the goby between about 7 and 8 rows.

13-16 rows: we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (30).

17 row: 9 sc, repeat (1 sc, 1 inc) 6 times, 9 sc (36).

18 row: 9 sc, repeat (1 inc, 1 sc) 9 times, 9 sc (45).

19 row: we knit in a circle sc, and in the region of the tummy we make evenly 3 increases (48).

20-22 rows: we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (48).

23 row: repeat (6 sc, 1 dec) 6 times (42).

24 row: repeat (5 sc, 1 dec) 6 times (36).

25 row: repeat (4 sc, 1 dec) 6 times (30).

26 row: repeat (3 sc, 1 dec) 6 times (24).

We fix the legs of the bull with cotter pins.

27 row: repeat (2 sc, 1 dec) 6 times (18).

28 row: repeat (1 sc, 1 dec) 6 times (12).

We knit decreases until the hole is completely closed.

Crochet tail for the bull.

The tail for the goby fits very simply. We fold the brown thread three times and hook with a larger size (not with the one that knitted the toy, but a little more – I used the hook No. 2) knit 5 ch At the end of the tail, leave the brush.

Here’s a goby – a velor barrel!

If you want to tie the same jumpsuit for your bull, then look at this master class:

Knitted overalls for a bunny [clothes for knitted toys].

This jumpsuit is suitable for a bull, but only it will be necessary to tie more rows of facial smoothness, since the body of a bull is longer than that of a hare.
